Jeb Bush was a successful governor of Florida, who weathered both political and weather storms to create a generally favorable legacy in the Sunshine State. Apparently, that isn't enough for the faculty senate of the University of Florida, which voted to deny awarding him an honorary degree.
I have a sneaking suspicion that he might just take that as a backhanded badge of honor, but the public rebuke isn't justified. It does say a lot about the UoF, though.
Hat tip to Power Line.
